KTORÉ CESTY SÚ NAJLEPŠIE❓️ 👍🌍

(🇬🇧⬇️) Nejde o žiadnu klišé frázu, ale veľakrát overený fakt: Tie najlepšie cesty nerobí destinácia, ale ľudia❗️
Bol som na vysnívaných miestach Zeme 🌍 no tí ľudia boli... povedzme "svojskí" 😀 (našťastie, takí sú veľmi málokedy) a ovplyvnilo to aj spomienku na to miesto.
Naopak, keď máte okoko seba super ľudí, nie je to práca, ale radosť ❤️ a TOP je aj posedenie na úplne obyčajnom mieste.
A ak súčasťou toho zážitku a spomienok sú aj vaši najbližší, ktorí vďaka vám vidia niečo nové 🙂, JE TO DOKONALOSŤ.

This is not a cliché phrase for being adorable, but a fact that has been proven many times: The best trips are not made by the destination, but by the people❗️
I've been to dream places on Earth 🌍 but the people were... let's say a bit "weird" 😀 (fortunately, they are very rarely like that) and it also influenced the memory of that place.
On the contrary, when you have perfect people around you, it's not even work, but joy ❤️ and even sitting in an very ordinary place is THE BEST.
And if your loved ones are also part of that experience and memories, see something new thanks to you 🙂, IT'S PERFECTION.

🌌 ČO JE POLÁRNA ŽIARA? 🙂

(🇬🇧⬇️) Vznik tohto krásneho ukázu začal už pred pár dňami na Slnku ☀️, ktoré vypúšťa rozpálené prúdy slnečných častíc do vesmíru – takzvané slnečné vetry 🌬️.
A niektoré si to namieria presne k našej planéte ➡️🌍. 🙂
Keď o 2 až 4 dni k nám tento slnečný vietor príde, narazí na magnetické pole Zeme, ktoré ho odkloní smerom k pólom (obrázok č. 3).
Práve preto sa polárna žiara najčastejšie objavuje a najlepšie sleduje buď na ďalekom severe (aurora borealis) alebo naopak na ďalekom juhu (aurora australis).
V týchto miestach sa najlepšie darí slnečným časticiam prenikať hlbšie do atmosféry, kde sa zrážajú s molekulami a atómami vzduchu (kyslíka a dusíka), čo spôsobuje túto svetelnú show 🎇.
Farba polárnej žiary závisí od toho, v akej výške i aké konkrétne častice slnka a atmosféry sa zrážajú.

🌌 WHAT IS AN AURORA? 🙂

The formation of this beautiful spectacle began a few days ago on the Sun ☀️, which releases hot streams of solar particles into space - the so-called solar winds 🌬️
and some of them head exactly towards our planet ➡️🌍. 🙂
When this solar wind comes to us in 2 to 4 days, it encounters the Earth's magnetic field, which deflects it towards the poles of the Earth (picture number 3).
That is why the aurora most often appears and is best observed either in the far north (aurora borealis) or in the far south (aurora australis).
In these places, solar particles are best able to penetrate deeper into the atmosphere, where they collide with molecules and atoms of the air (oxygen and nitrogen), which causes this light show 🎇.
The color of the aurora depends on the height at which and what specific particles of the sun and atmosphere collide.

NAJKRAJŠÍ OKAMIH 😊🏔️ A KONIEC TRÁPENIA? NIE

(🇬🇧⬇️) „Otočím sa... Ale keď už som tu... A nebude to hanba?“ Takéto myšlienky tu na vás čakajú. 😀
Niektorí sa aj na chvíľu otočili, povedali „zbohom,“ ale potom sa znova vrátili bojovať, za čo klobúk dole! Samotná výška Kilimanjara skoro 6000 m a veľké prevýšenie v posledný deň, bez poriadneho spánku, dali poriadne zabrať aj tým, ktorí to naozaj nečakali.
Sám som bol nesmierne šťastný, keď som sa konečne dostal do tohto bodu a videl toto – nazýva sa to STELLA POINT, je to okraj krátera 🌋, no ešte to nie je najvyšší bod Kilimanjara.
Ten, s názvom Uhuru Peak, je odtiaľ na dosah, vyzerá to už len kúsok... ale aj týchto posledných cca 100 výškových m k nemu nám dalo ešte poriadne zabrať. 😄
Človek ide ako opitý, oťapený, zombie 🧟 – Walking Dead v priamom prenose, ale ide! Klasický horský oxymoron: Trpíte, ale ste pritom šťastní! ❤️👌

THE MOST BEAUTIFUL MOMENT 😊🏔️ AND THE END OF THE TROUBLE? NO

"I'll turn back... But since I'm already here... And won't it be a shame?" Such thoughts await you here. 😀 Some people even turned back for a moment, said "goodbye," but then came back to fight again - hats off for them! The height of Kilimanjaro (almost 6000 m) and the big elevation gain in the last day, without good sleep, gave us a real hard time even for those who really didn't expect it.
I myself was really happy when I finally reached this point and saw this - it's called STELLA POINT, it's the edge of the crater 🌋, but it's not the highest point of Kilimanjaro yet.
The one, called Uhuru Peak, is within reach from there, it looks like it's just a short distance away... but even these last 100 m or so elevation gains to it gave us a real hard time! 😄
People walk like a drunk or zombie 🧟 - Walking Dead live, but they walk! Classic mountain oxymoron: You suffer, but you are happy! ❤️👌

TAKTO VYZERÁ NÁŠ "TÍM KILIMANJARO" 🏔🙂

(🇬🇧⬇️) 10 Slovákov a k tomu vyše 30 miestnych (1 : 3+), ktorí celý týždeň nosia stany, hrnce, plynové bomby, jedlo... + zopár sprievodcov 🧗‍♂️, jeden kuchár a dvaja čašníci. 🙂 Takto vyzerá celý náš tím pokope, ktorý tu musíte mať – hora je zdrojom obživy pre mnohých domácich.

Aj keď si to musíte celé odšľapať sami 🏔, týždeň spíte v stane, bez sprchy & elektriny, vďaka týmto ľuďom je to tam podstatne príjemnejšie i ľahšie, a patrí im veľká vďaka. 🙏

THIS IS WHAT OUR "KILIMANJARO TEAM" LOOKS LIKE 🏔🙂

10 Slovaks and over 30 locals (1:3) who carry tents, pots, gas bombs, food... + a few guides 🧗‍♂️, one cook and two waiters all week. 🙂 This is what our entire team looks like together, which you must have here - the mountain is a source of livelihood for many locals.

Even though you have to hike it all yourself 🏔, you sleep in a tent for a week, without a shower & electricity, thanks to these people it is much more pleasant and easier there, and a big thank you goes to them.

• súčasť "koruny sveta" 👑

(🇬🇧⬇️) Výstup v skratke: Prvých 5 dní je pekných, prechádzate rôznorodou krajinou 🐒 a na komfort stanov, spacákov a kakania do diery si zvyknete. 😀
6. deň je útok na vrchol z posledného tábora (zo 4700 m). Vyrazí sa ešte v noci, presne o polnoci. Zamrzne vám voda i vy. 😄 Ste totálne nevyspaní a pred vami 6 hodín šľapania hore a ďalšie hodiny dole.
So stúpajúcimi metrami sa dýcha čoraz horšie, ľudia tu doslova omdlievajú. Všetkých bolí hlava. Vaše telo tu byť proste nechce! 😀
Úplne chápem Zdena Cháru – presne v rovnakej výške som mal rovnaké myšlienky, prečo sa takto trýzniť a radšej neísť dole 😄, človek tu bojuje sám so sebou, ALE vyhecovali sme sa 💪 a VŠETCI sme sa postavili na najvyšší bod Afriky! 🌍 🙂

The ascent in brief: The first 5 days are nice, you pass through a diverse landscape 🐒 and you get used to the comfort of tents, sleeping bags and pooping in a hole. 😀
The 6th day is an attack on the summit from the last camp (from 4700 m). You leave at night, exactly at midnight. The water will freeze and you too. 😄 You are completely sleepless and you have 6 hours of hiking up and another hours down.
As the meters rise, it becomes increasingly difficult to breathe, people are literally fainting here. Everyone has a headache. Your body simply does not want to be here! 😀
You are fighting with yourself here, BUT we pushed ourselves 💪 and we ALL stood on the highest point in Africa! 🌍🐒

(🇬🇧⬇️) Keď Veľká migrácia (o nej príspevok predtým) prekračuje rieku Mara, aby nasledovala dažde a svieže pastviny, krokodíly majú hody! 🐊 🍽
Skupina pakoňov prešla, no jeden ostal vo vode a ponáral sa nižšie a nižšie pod hladinu. Bolo jasné, že ho tam niečo ťahá a zdalo, že je s ním koniec.
No predviedol neuveriteľné odhodlanie žiť 💪 a s veľkým krokodílom na zadku sa horko–ťažko vydriapal až na breh. Tento súboj vyhral – vyhral život.
Aj takéto príbehy sa tu dejú priamo pred nami. 🙈

FIGHTS FOR LIFE AND DEATH 💀

When the Great Migration (previous post about it) crosses the Mara River to follow the rains and lush pastures, the crocodiles have a feast! 🐊 🍽
A group of wildebeests crossed, but one stayed in the water and dived lower and lower below the surface. It was clear that something was pulling him there and it seemed that he was finished.
But he showed incredible determination to live 💪 and with a large crocodile on his back, he climbed to the shore with great difficulty. He won this fight - he won his life.
Such stories are also happening right in front of us. 🙈
