(🇬🇧⬇️) Už dlho som chcel ukázať rodine, najmä mame, kde to pracujem a kde trávim nemalú časť roka (vlani som bol v Jordánsku dokopy 9 týždňov). Podarilo sa 🙂 a mám naozaj obrovskú radosť, že ich a aj ľudí, ktorí sa k nám na tento trochu rodinný výlet pridali, táto krajina, môj hlavný office 🙂 , očarila a zaujala. Jordánsko má rozhodne čo ukázať. Pre nás je to ako návšteva iného, veľmi zaujímavého sveta. Zopakujem, čo hovorím o tomto regióne bežne: „Je to najzaujímavejší kút sveta.“ 🌍 Kolíska civilizácie, najbohatšie dejiny sveta, div sveta, najnižšie miesto na Zemi, jedna z najkrajších púšti sveta... a mnoho, mnoho iného.

Zároveň som rád, že hoci sa tu ľudia obávajú chodiť a cestovky nedokážu nazbierať ľudí, mne sa tu akosi ďalej darí chodiť aj v tomto roku a poviem vám úprimne, bez tých davov európskych či čínskych turistov je to Jordánsko + +, hoci pre miestnych to znamená veľmi ťažké časy.

For a long time I wanted to show my family, especially my mother, where I work and where I spend a large part of the year (last year I was in Jordan for a total of 9 weeks). This mission is already successful 🙂 and I am really very happy that they and the people who joined us on this somewhat family trip were charmed and interested by this country - my main office 🙂.

For us, it's like visiting another, very interesting world. I repeat what I usually say about this region: "It is the most interesting corner of the world." 🌍 The beginning of civilization, richest history of the world, wonder of the world, the lowest place on Earth, one of the most beautiful deserts in the world... and much, much more.

Z LYŽÍ NA ŤAVY ⛷️🐪

(🇬🇧⬇️) Spomienky na najlepšiu lyžovačku v Arlbergu ⛷️😊 na záver tej naj sezóny 🔝 – toľkokrát som na lyžiach/skialpoch & snowboarde 🏂 nestál dokopy za minimálne 15 rokov, čo teraz počas jednej a ešte aj to snehovo dosť naprd zimy. 😄 A banujem, PREČO som to tak odložil...
Kysuce, Alpy, Fatra, Tatry... Kto chcete, pozrite si príbehy "Zima 23/24 🏔".

Hneď odtiaľto sa išlo do Jordánska na púšť 🐪😄, zo snehu na piesok, z lyží na ťavu, ale vďaka destináciam, ktoré mi boli pred rokmi pridelené ako sprievodcovi, mi to príde normálne. 😀
Dnes sa už balím na Maroko 😊❤️ a zajtra vyrážam 🇲🇦 – ďalšia moja typická krajina, kde často zo zasnežených vrcholkov Atlasu (hory oveľa vyššie ako naše Tatry) schádzame na piesočné duny Sahary. 🐪 Krajina, ktorá ma naučila brať takéto skoky prostredia za normálne. Pritom kedysi som ani nevedel, že nad Saharou sú zasnežené hory a lyžiarske strediská. 🙈

FROM SKIS TO CAMELS ⛷️🐪

Memories of the best skiing in Arlberg ⛷️😊 at the end of the best season 🔝 - I haven't skied and snowboarded so many times 🏂 in 15 years together as now during one winter, which was snow-poor. 😄 I regret WHY I put them off for so long time...

Right from there I went to Jordan to the desert 🐪😄, from snow to sand, from skis to a camel, but thanks to the destinations that were assigned to me as for tour guide years ago, it is quite normal for me. 🙂
Today I'm already packing for Morocco 😊❤️ and tomorrow I'm leaving 🇲🇦 - another typical country for me, where we are often going from the snowy peaks of the High Atlas to the sand dunes of the Sahara. 🐪 This is the country that taught me to take such country-jumps as normal thing. Once upon a time / before this job as tour guide, I didn't even know that there are snow-covered mountains and ski resorts above the Sahara. 🙂

(🇬🇧🇪🇺 ⬇️) Neplánované udalosti a rýchla odpoveď "áno, idem" 😄 sú často tie najlepšie rozhodnutia a zážitky!
Ďakujem za najlepšiu lyžovačku života. 🙏
A ďalšie super rozhodnutie, ktoré musím znova vyzdvihnúť, bolo začať skialpovať a po 20 rokoch sa tak vrátiť k lyžovaniu ⛷️, lebo je to na rovinu jedna z najkrajších a najlepších aktivít v prekrásnom prostredí 🏔, aké môže človek robiť! 🔝

Ďalšiu zimu asi naplánujeme niečo vo veľkom štýle! 😉 ⛷️🏂

And another great decision that I have to highlight again was to start skiing and return to skiing after 20 years ⛷️, because it is one of the most beautiful and best activities in a beautiful mountain country 🏔 that a person can do! 🔝

(🇬🇧⬇️) Som naozaj šťastný, že tie Alpy nemáme tak ďaleko ☺️ no aj smutný, že nie sú ešte bližšie. 😄 Našim susedom ani tak nezávidím lepšie platy, lepšiu životnú úroveň, menej korupcie, že im komunizmus nehodil brzdu atď. ale TOTO! 😄 Viete, že milujem naše slovenské hory, ale ako som už písal, Alpy sú proste úplne iný rozmer – iná liga. Už viackrát som o nich písal ako o „európskom nebi“ a pri každej návšteve, každých takýchto pohľadoch, sa mi to slovné spojenie len upevňuje. Kto miluje hory ako ja, vitajte V NEBI!

I'm really happy that the Alps are not so far away ☺️ but also sad that they are not even closer. 😄 I don't envy our neighbors (Austria) better salaries, better living standards, less corruption, that communism didn't stop them, etc. but THIS! 😄 You know that I love our Slovak mountains, but as I already wrote, the Alps are simply a completely different dimension - a different league. I have already written about them several times as the "European heaven", and with each visit, each such view, the word association only gets stronger. Who loves mountains like me, welcome to HEAVEN!

POĎ S NAMI DO KRÁĽOVSTVA 👑, KTORÉ MÁ VŠETKO! 🏄‍♀️🐪🧗

(🇬🇧⬇️) Moja najobľúbenejšia veta o Maroku, ktorá ho najviac vystihuje: „Táto krajina má všetko❗️“ Zasnežené hory, rozpálenú Saharu, oceán i more, moderné mestá i žijúcu a veľmi bohatú históriu, taktiež jedinečnú kultúru, kuchyňu... v skratke: všetko, prečo cestujeme a čo chceme objavovať. ❤️

Najviac navštevujem dve arabské krajiny: Maroko a Jordánsko, a hoci sú si v niečom podobné, fascinuje ma, ako zároveň sú veľmi odlišné. Nie len krajinou a trebárs iným typom púšte, ale hlavne mentalitou a správaním ľudí, kultúrou, hudbou, stavbami či kuchyňou. Žiadny humus a falafel, či šiša na každom rohu, tu vás čaká tadžin a úžasný mätový čaj. 😉 (v Jordánsku ho fakt taký nevedia, ale oni vedia zas iné veci).

Maroko patrí do takzvaného Magrebu – západného arabského sveta, ktorý je iný, špecifický a čo taktiež spôsobuje rozdiel, je fakt, že Maroko nie je tak úplne arabská krajina, ale skôr berbersko-arabská. 🔵

Ak ju chceš spoznať, koncom apríla vyrážame na ďalšiu cestu skrz touto krajinou Tisíc a jednej noci. 🌠😉

My favorite sentence about Morocco, which best describes it: "This country has everything!" Snowy mountains, hot Sahara, ocean and sea, modern cities and a living and very rich history, also a unique culture, cuisine... in short: everything, why we travel and what we want to discover. ❤️

I visit these two Arab countries the most: Morocco and Jordan, and although they are similar in some ways, it fascinates me how they are also very different. Not only the landscape and a different type of desert, but mainly the mentality and behavior of people, culture, music, buildings and cuisine. Don't expect hummus and falafel or shisha on every corner, tagine and amazing mint tea await you here 😉.

Morocco belongs to the so-called "Maghreb" - the Western Arab world, which is different, specific, and what also makes the difference is the fact that Morocco is not so completely an Arab country, but rather Berber-Arab. 🔵

JEDNOZNAČNÝ VÍŤAZ JORDÁNSKA! 🥇 AJ NAD PETROU

(🇬🇧⬇️) Mnoho ľudí príde do Jordánska kvôli Petre (staroveké mesto v skalách & zaslúžený div sveta), ktorá je veľakrát to jediné, čo tu na začiatku poznajú.
No môžete mi veriť, že víťazom TOP miesta a zážitku je v závere cesty pre nich vždy niečo iné! 🙂
Jednoznačným víťazom v anketách, ktoré ľudia vypĺňajú pre cestovky i čo najviac ospevujú pri odlete z krajiny, je púšť WADI RUM. Kto tu je, vôbec sa nečuduje, že ju veľmi radi vyhľadávajú aj filmári a tak tu vznikli filmy ako Marťan, Duna, Star Wars, Aladin... či Exodus od Ridleyho Scotta, ktorý som včera pozeral. No nejde len o krásne scenérie, ale aj o tunajších milých ľudí a aktivity, ktoré sme si tu pre vás pripravili, zakončené nezabudnuteľnou nocou pod hviezdami 🌟, pri ohníku 🔥, chutnom jedle a vodnej fajke/šiši uprostred púšte.
Na Wadi Rum sa nezabúda a vždy sa tu veľmi tešíme. 🧡 TOP miesto Jordánska teda aj za nás! 😉

Many people come to Jordan because of Petra (the ancient city in the rocks, a well-deserved wonder of the world), which is often the only thing they know here at the beginning. Well, you can believe me that the winner of the TOP place and experience is always something different for them at the end of the trip! 🙂
The unequivocal winner in the polls that people write for travel guides and praise as much as possible when leaving the country is the WADI RUM desert. Anyone who is here is not at all surprised that filmmakers also like this place, so movies such as The Martian, Dune, Star Wars, Aladdin... or Ridley Scott's Exodus, which I watched yesterday, were made here. Well, it's not just about beautiful scenery, but also about the nice people here and the activities that we have prepared for you, ending with an unforgettable night under the stars 🌟...

KYSUČANIA NA PIESKU 😄🐪

Ďalšie úžasné Jordánsko za nami a opäť s ľuďmi z môjho kraja i dokonca rodnej obce. Takéto cesty sú pre mňa vždy niečo extra 👌❤️ a som aj úprimne hrdý, že som ten, kto niektorých z našej malebnej dolinky zoberie prvýkrát mimo Európy, prvýkrát na púšť, prvýkrát na ťavu 🐪, prvýkrát zjesť ťavu a mnoho, mnoho iného. 😀 A teší ma, že je tu ten záujem aj o niečo iné ako Chorvátsko, Bulharsko... a spoznávať širší svet. 🌍 Navyše, ísť s Kysučanmi, to je vždy spojené aj s tancom, spevom atď. takže sú to vždy veľmi veselé cesty, ktoré si stále užívam. 😀
Ďalšia várka Kysučanov na púšť už čoskoro!

PEOPLE FROM THE COLD MOUNTAIN REGION ON THE SAND 😄🐪

Another wonderful Jordan is already behind us and again with people from my region and even my homevillage. Such trips are always special for me 👌❤️ and I am also sincerely proud that I am the one who takes some people from our picturesque valley outside of Europe for the first time, to the desert for the first time, to ride a camel for the first time 🐪, to eat a camel for the first time and many, many other things. 😀 And I'm glad that here is interest in something other than typical Croatia, Bulgaria... and getting to know the other parts of the world. 🌍 In addition, going with people from Kysuce (my Slovak region) is always associated with dancing, singing, etc. so they are always very cheerful trips that I enjoy. 😀

JEDINEČNÁ CESTA DO PETRY 👌

(🇬🇧⬇️) O Petre – starovekom meste v Jordánsku, ktoré pred vyše 2000 rokmi vysekali Nabatejci do skál, ste už zrejme počuli. 🙂 No svoje veľkolepé diela tu nezanechal len človek (Nabetejci, potom Rimania...), ale aj príroda. Dnes vám predstavím kaňon alebo údolie Siq, úzku tiesňavu pomedzi tunajšie pieskovcové hory, ktorá je vlastne hlavným vstupom do mesta. Bez debát ju považujem za jednu z TOP vecí, ktorá vás pri návšteve Petry čaká. Pieskovcové hory časom opracováva vietor, dážď a iné živly, ako sochár svoje diela, čím získavajú jedinečné tvary (často podobajúce sa na niečo) a pravidelne tak dostávam otázku, či to vytvoril človek. Nie, príroda. 🙂

Jeden z najviac epic momentov je záver tejto 1,2 km dlhej cesty, kde skrz štrbinu zrazu zazriete krásnu, slávnu Pokladnicu (najznámejšiu budovu Petry, známa aj z filmu Indiana Jones), za ktorou sa vám postupne otvára toto staroveké mesto – Vitajte v jednom zo 7 divov nášho sveta! 😉🌍

UNIQUE ENTRY TO PETRA 👌

You've probably already heard about Petra 🙂 - an ancient city in Jordan that was cut into the rocks by the Nabataeans more than 2,000 years ago. But not only people made their magnificent works here (the Nabatheans, then the Romans...), but also nature. Today I will introduce you to the Siq Canyon - a narrow gorge between the local sandstone mountains, which is actually the main entrance to the city. Without debate, I consider it one of the TOP things that awaits you when you visit Petra. Sandstone mountains are changed over time by wind, rain and other elements like a sculptor creates sculptures. I regularly get a question from people if it was made by human. No, it was made by nature. One of the most epic moments is the end of this 1.2 km long walk, where through a gap you suddenly see the famous Treasury (the most famous building of Petra, also known from the movie Indiana Jones), behind which the ancient city gradually opens up to you - Welcome to one of the wonders of our world! 🙂🌍
