One month in Madagascar V: Night in the jungle and 40 tons weighing animal in the air
This largest island in Africa is simply a separate world or a "separate continent" - as some people say.
You can't see most of the things you see here anywhere else in the world! About 80% of animals and plants are endemic, so you can only find them in nature here.
I can mention the well-known lemurs, of which there are more than 100 species, fossa, many species of palms or the most beautiful baobabs, which grow only here.
And similarly unique are the local people, whose roots are on the other side of the planet. Taking the dead from the graves and making a village "party" with their remains is one of those local habbits that Europeans will not soon forget. :D
